Lunching the project with our first event

Ilustromania started as an intimate New Year’s Eve gathering, transforming into a dynamic celebration of music and art. By blending exhibitions, performances, and themed spaces, the event brought together diverse creatives and marked the birth of a new artistic collective.

The birth of Ilustromania

The journey began with the idea of hosting a small party among close friends and artists, which evolved into a multi-dimensional event celebrating art and music. It featured 82 guests, including graphic designers, musicians, actors, dancers, fashion designers, and influencers, each contributing their unique touch to the event’s atmosphere.

Sparking the Idea

Initially conceived as a private gathering, the event grew into an ambitious project that united artists eager to share their work. This shift from a simple celebration to a large-scale event stemmed from a collective passion for creativity and expression.

The guest list reflected the event’s diverse creative spirit. Artists from different fields mingled with performers, influencers, and designers, fostering a space for collaboration and connection. Each attendee brought their unique perspective, enriching the experience for all.

Reimagining the space

The event’s venue, a spacious apartment, was transformed into an inspiring hub of artistic expression. To accommodate the creative energy and activities, the space was completely reorganized, with half the furniture relocated to provide room for guests and installations.

3D map and theme zones

To make the experience truly unique, a 3D map of the venue was designed, offering a preview of the event and its layout. This innovation allowed guests to visualize the thematic zones, each designed to spark curiosity and engagement. These spaces reflected the event’s dedication to providing a multi-faceted experience, ensuring every guest could connect with a part of the artistic journey.

The apartment featured five distinct spaces:

  • Gallery 1 by Iamandi Robert, showcasing curated artworks.
  • Gallery 2 by Onea Mihai Alin, displaying bold, dynamic pieces.
  • Gallery 3 by Mania, celebrating experimental art.
  • Community Artworks, a collaborative area for shared creations.
  • The DJ Zone, where guests danced and celebrated to live music.

The midnight celebration

As the clock struck midnight, the energy of the event reached its peak. Guests gathered outside the future studio space, cheering, dancing, and welcoming the New Year with boundless joy. For many, this moment symbolized not only the start of 2022 but also the beginning of a new creative adventure.

A celebration to remember

The atmosphere was electric, as 82 people united in a shared celebration. Laughter, music, and dance filled the air, creating memories that would last far beyond the event itself. This gathering marked the start of something larger than anyone had anticipated. For the organizers, the midnight cheers were the culmination of months of planning and creativity. The success of the event reinforced their belief in the power of community and collaboration, paving the way for the birth of Ilustromania.

The aftermath

By 8:00 AM, the last guests left, leaving behind only positive energy and amazement at how seamless and enjoyable the night had been.

Building a creative community

The success of the event extended beyond New Year’s Eve. Over the following months, 10 to 15 visitors came daily to experience the unique atmosphere and explore the creative energy that had been ignited. The shared excitement and passion for art fostered long-lasting connections. Guests continued to visit, eager to relive the experience and participate in the growing community. From this momentum, Ilustromania was officially born. It became a hub for artists, offering a space to collaborate, share ideas, and inspire each other. The event laid the foundation for a collective that continues to thrive and evolve.

Ilustromania’s debut event was a celebration of art, music, and human connection. From a simple idea to a transformative experience, it laid the groundwork for a thriving community, proving that creativity and collaboration can create something extraordinary.
