The European Advanced Neurosurgery Group (EANG) website was crafted to reflect the precision and innovation of modern neurosurgery. By blending functional design with medical branding, the site serves as an informative platform for patients and professionals, highlighting treatments, specialists, and research advancements.
In the first stage, I focused on developing the main pages that provide a deep dive into the neurosurgical field. The Treatments section was designed with clarity and accessibility in mind, detailing advanced procedures like spinal and laser neurosurgery. The Specialists page introduces key experts with personalized profiles, emphasizing their expertise and dedication. A dedicated Research section highlights breakthroughs and ongoing case studies, while the Training Centre page showcases opportunities for medical training with advanced methodologies such as VR and robotic simulations.
The carefully curated use of blue throughout the design communicates professionalism, trust, and calmness—ideal for a medical context—while red accents subtly emphasize critical areas related to brain surgery and innovation.
In the second stage, I expanded the design to include essential functional pages: About, Blog, and Contact. The About page offers comprehensive information about neurosurgery as a field and introduces EANG's mission and services. The Blog section presents educational and research-driven content, ensuring users stay updated on advancements and news. The Contact page was designed to ensure accessibility, providing clear forms and contact options for seamless communication.
These pages were built with a user-friendly layout, ensuring the content flows naturally and visitors can easily find the information they need. The cohesive design maintains the branding’s professional tone across all sections while enhancing usability.
The EANG website successfully integrates advanced design principles with a professional medical aesthetic.
